Exams To Take
There are two exams included in this program to get the certification.
The exam codes are LX0-103 and LX0-104. These exams cover the basic concepts for the Linux Professional Institute.

LX0-103 exam covers the concept of the varied tasks included in the Linux system. This comprises the Linux commands, installations along with the configuration of the system. Candidates are required to pass this exam to be eligible for LX0-104. This exam also covers the concepts of package management and devices. There are many hardware concepts covered as well. Individuals are required to know about Red Hat and the Debian style of packages. This is associated with the tools of the command line. The exam also focuses on the features of the Linux File system Hierarchy Standard.

LX0-104 exam focuses on the applications and scripting of the system. It also covers the basic security standards and individuals should be aware of the different uses of the shell. Candidates should also know about the user management along with script writing. Along with that, they need to have a comprehensive knowledge of email and time servers. This includes information on logging and printing.

Information on the exam process:
The exams have 60 questions which are of multiple choice type along with multiple correct options. This also includes questions based on fill in the blanks. The duration is for 90 minutes. The passing score stands at 500 out of 800 points. The candidates appearing the exam should have a comprehensive knowledge on the Linux. The exam is available in 4 languages, namely English, Portuguese, German, and Spanish.
